Apart from that, nothing else really changed apart from a changes in sentence structure.

In terms of how form changed, I added commas to certain sentences. This helped improve the form of my work as it gave the essay a better flow for the audience to read from. Marketing
professionals in the business world have to write frequently and in doing so use
different genres and conventions within their work. After conducting two
interviews and doing individual research, I found a range of information about
the kinds of writing professionals do in marketing. From interviewing two
professionals and doing individual research I also discovered the rhetorical
situations marketing writer’s use, different genres written, and the
conventions used for each genre. The genres examined will be a journal article
and a report by a range of examples from the marketing field.
- The content changes greatly as I have completely switched from having a podcast to creating a standard college essay. Overall, I basically touched up on what I previous wrote and enhanced it so that it sounds better. The content is being communicated more effectively as I have made the intro less wordy, with less repetition and shorter sentences. This consequently improved the flow of the essay's intro.
- Even though the genre of the project changed, the form overall did not change greatly. I still used the same structure of the podcast to be within my standard college essay. The only changes were that I did not include the conventions of a podcast (music, sound effects etc.).
Reflection on post-production
This has been a tiring week but I feel I still have more to accomplish. I hope for the next few days I will be more productive.
- During this week, I realised that by switching from a podcast to standard college essay was a more suitable genre for me to do. This genre was easier to work with then a podcast since I am used to writing essays. A podcast was a genre I typically never worked with which was a challenge working with. In addition, by using an essay for project 2, I feel as though my project will be more successful as the conventions for this genre are more easier to follow than creating a podcast.
- Challenges I faced was time management. I really struggled with completing everything on time. Thus, I felt rushed when doing my work and feel as though I could have done better if I used more time during my break to finish the project.
- Next week will go well as I feel that after finally finishing the project I can start working on the upcoming project 3. From this experience I will strive to work more in advance rather than working near the deadline.
- Overall, I feel glad the project is finally over. It was much more stressful than project one and I could not be any happier to finally finish this project.
Reflection on Production
This reflection helped me rethink what I did well and what I could further develop on. It will be a relief to finally finish this project.
- The successes for this week's process work is that I have finally managed to do my last interview. This took a long time as it was a struggle find a second interviewee as well as finding a mutual time to meet. Additionally, I feel as though I have a much better understanding of what the project requires. I spoke with Professor Bottai and he explained to me very clearly how to improve the content of my outline and the structure.
- The challenges for this week is finding the time to work on the project. As there are many other tests and assignments going around this week, finding the time to actually work on the project was challenging. Additionally, it was a challenge to find a time to conduct my last interview.
- Next week will go well hopefully. With the break, this will give me a lot of time into planning and finishing up my project. I am concerened that I will procrasinate a lot however which could be an issue for the coming days.
- At this point I am feeling more confident. I have finally collected my information and have a place where I can start working from to finish the final product.

This task helped me see if I did everything in my essay that I planned for in my outline. The project is beginning to make me more exhausted and anxious with the deadlines coming soon.

Report on My Interviewees
This task helped me reflect on the interviews and remind me about what I learnt from the interviews.
1. The most significant and interesting genres that I learned about my interviewees included poetry and novels. These genres were not related to Marketing itself but were written by personal desire. However, in terms of genres from the Marketing field, the most significant genres were articles, journals and reports.
2. These genres differ from one another as each differs in purpose, content and audience. For an article, the audience is more directed towards . Reports and journal articles require a large amount of research and citations. Therefore, when writing these genres, credibility is a major factor for a marketing paper.
3. What is exciting from writing in these genres is the amount of influence the writing can have on the audience. One of the professionals I interviewed felt rewarded when his student audience learned, as well as having people from the marketing spectrum conducting further research on certain topics which Sidney J Levy discusses about in his publications.
4. These genres can be found in the news, education and business magazines.

Reflecting on my progress helped me re evaluate what I did wrong, what I could improve in and what I is yet to complete. It gave time to rethink about how my project is going which I think will help me organize my ideas and time better for creating the final piece.
1. During this week's process, I finally managed to complete my last interview. This was a relief as it took a while to get someone to accept the interview and plan a time to meet up. I also managed to finish my other blog posts for the pre-production period which went well.
2. During the pre-production stage, there were a few challenges I faced. I had a lot of trouble finding my second interviewee as many people either declined or never responded to my email. In addition, by the time I finally managed to meet a professional for my second interview, he could not make it to the original time we agreed on, thus I had to plan the interview to be a bit later than I would have wanted to.
3. Next week will be a hard for me to manage my time to finish the project. I will be traveling to San Francisco and then to Lake Tahoe. During these days of travel both via plane and car, will become an obstacle for me to create time to work on my project. Additionally, I will be hanging out and skiing with my friends, Uncle, and brother which will be a distraction.
4. Overall for the project, I feel confident. I am wary about whether or not I will manage to work effectively during my spring break. Regardless, I have finished collecting all my information and should be able to complete the project with ease.

Idea on how to start off and grab readers attention: Ever wondered how marketing professionals write and the different genres and conventions they use? Well I took the time to find the answers.
